Lessons are online, so from any city. Looking for a tutor for your area?
Who teaches you.
- Gaetano teaches maths, physics, science and computer science himself; for the other subjects we suggest the tutor best suited to your subject and level.
- Every tutor is selected and followed personally by Gaetano: qualifications and teaching experience come first.
- At application we ask for a CV and a sample lesson: without them we do not assess the application.
- Tutors stay in touch with Gaetano throughout the collaboration, so the method stays consistent from one subject to the next.
How we work and who the tutors are: the method and our tutors.
How to choose online tutoring.
Online you can rely on an independent tutor, on a platform with many profiles or on a tutoring centre. No route is right in absolute terms: it depends on what you need.
-
Independent tutor
Strength
A direct relationship and a personal method, often with great availability.
Check
You depend on one person and usually on one subject: if your needs change, the search starts again.
-
Platform with many profiles
Strength
Plenty of choice and prices to compare at a glance.
Check
Quality varies a lot from one profile to another: check who will really teach you and whether contacting a tutor has a cost.
-
Tutoring centre
Strength
Structure, timetables and a stable point of reference.
Check
Often small groups and shared syllabuses, with less room for your specific gaps.
Five questions to ask before choosing
- Who will really teach me? Subjects, level and teaching experience.
- Is the lesson one to one or in a group?
- Does the plan start from my gaps or from a standard syllabus?
- What is left after the lesson: notes, exercises, a place to find them again?
- Can I talk to someone before committing, and how do I pay?
With us: selected tutors followed by a single point of reference, one-to-one lessons, notes after every lesson and a free introductory call before you decide. You pay offline, after the call, with no automatic subscriptions.

Questions about online tutoring.
Does online tutoring really work?
Yes, when the lesson is one-to-one and interactive: the tutor explains and works through the exercises on the shared whiteboard, asks you questions and corrects you in real time, just as in person. What matters is the method and the tutor, not the video call: that is why we always start with a call to understand where you are stuck.
What do I need for an online lesson?
A computer with a webcam and microphone and a decent connection. The lesson takes place by video call on Google Meet with a shared digital whiteboard: you never have to travel, wherever you are.
Is online tutoring better than in-person lessons?
It depends on you. Online you have more choice of tutors, no time lost travelling, and all the material (whiteboard, notes, exercises) already digital and always at hand. In person, the setting and direct contact matter more: if you get distracted easily in front of a screen, say so in the introductory call and we will talk it through.
How do I choose the right tutor for online lessons?
Look at subject and level, teaching experience and method, not only the price. In the free introductory call we explain how we work and suggest the tutor best suited to your subject, level and deadlines.
How much does online tutoring cost?
With us a single lesson costs €40 an hour and the 10-lesson package €360 (€36 an hour); the introductory call is free. Prices online vary a lot: compare what is included (a selected tutor, one-to-one teaching, notes, support between lessons), not only the hourly rate.
Can I try before buying a package?
Yes: the 30-minute introductory call is free and without commitment, and you can begin with a single lesson before deciding on the package. You pay offline, only after speaking with us.
Is online tutoring suitable for university too?
Yes. For first-year exams (calculus, linear algebra, physics) long sessions of 90 minutes or 2 hours, devoted to exam-style exercises, work well.
Shall we start with a call?
Half an hour by phone, free and without commitment: you tell us where you are, we work out where to start and suggest a tutor and a plan.
