Online maths tutoring.
One-to-one maths lessons by video call, from catching up a failed subject to intensive revision before a university exam. No formulas learned by heart: we work on the reasoning, on the exercises in your book and on your teacher's tests.
Reasoning, not memorised formulas.
The students I work with
- Students at the liceo scientifico, classical and technical schools who need to make up a failed subject or raise their maths average.
- University students in engineering, economics and science faculties facing Calculus 1, Calculus 2, Linear Algebra or Geometry.
- Students about to take the maturità who are preparing for the liceo scientifico second paper.
- Adults returning to study who need to refresh the basics before a university course.
How it works
- We open the video call and the shared digital whiteboard.
- You tell me where you are stuck: a specific exercise, a topic or the whole chapter.
- I explain the concept starting from a concrete example, not from abstract theory.
- Together we solve exercises similar to those in your test or exam.
- At the end of the lesson you receive notes and diagrams on WhatsApp.

Maths: frequently asked questions.
How long does it take to catch up in maths?
It depends on where you start from, but with 5-10 targeted lessons it is realistic to fill the gaps of the term and arrive prepared for the next test. We work first on the missing basics, then on the current syllabus.
Do you also help with preparation for the maturità?
Yes, I prepare students for the liceo scientifico second maths paper with full practice papers, step-by-step correction and revision of the chapters that come up most often in recent years: calculus, analytic geometry and probability.
Do you also work with university students in Calculus 1?
Of course. I have worked with many Calculus 1 and Calculus 2 students from engineering and science faculties. We work on limits, sequences, series, differential and integral calculus, with a focus on exam-style exercises.
Can I bring my own exercises and homework?
Yes, in fact it is recommended. Working on your real homework, your teacher's tests and the books you use at school makes lessons far more effective than any standard syllabus.
Is maths tutoring online?
Yes, every lesson takes place online, one to one, on a Google Meet video call with a shared digital whiteboard. All you need is a computer with a webcam and microphone and a decent connection: no travelling, wherever you are.
How long is a lesson?
A lesson lasts at least 60 minutes. On request we can also do 90-minute or 2-hour sessions, useful at university or when you need a long block before a test.
How do I book the first lesson?
The easiest way is to book the free introductory call from the booking page, or to send a WhatsApp message. After the call we agree on a tutor and a plan; lessons are then booked from your personal area or on WhatsApp, in the tutor’s free slots.
How does the free introductory call work?
It is a free 30-minute phone call with no commitment: together we work out where you are, what you need to prepare for and how much time you have, and we suggest the tutor and the plan that suit you best.
