University tutoring, online and targeted at your exam.
Whether you need to resit an exam before the September sitting, close an OFA (an additional learning requirement assigned by the university) or catch up on a course where you have fallen behind, we do not restart from the whole syllabus. We start from where you are stuck right now, with 1-to-1 online lessons built around your real exam, not a generic syllabus.
Let’s start from where you are stuck now.
The situations we see most often
- An exam to resit after a sitting that did not go well, with the next attempt already scheduled, often in September or January.
- An OFA to close in maths or physics by the end of the first year.
- A course where you have fallen behind, because of an internship, a part-time job or difficult months, and need to catch up in a short time.
- A specific topic or project you are stuck on (a Calculus exercise, a Simulink model, a program in C or Python) before a deadline or an exam.
How it works
- You tell us about the exam or course: what you have already tried, where you get stuck, how much time you have before the sitting.
- Together we build a realistic plan for the time you have: not the ideal syllabus, but what it takes to pass the exam.
- We work on exam-style exercises from your specific course, not generic textbook exercises.
- On a shared digital whiteboard we solve step by step, checking where you lose points.
- Before the sitting, a free timed practice test so you arrive with no surprises.
The university subjects we cover.
For the full syllabus of each subject, from high school to university, go to its dedicated page. Here you only find the university context.
- Maths
Calculus 1 and 2, Linear Algebra, Geometry: the exams of the first two years of engineering and science faculties. To review the concepts before retaking an exam, start from limits and integrals explained well.
See the maths syllabus → - Physics
Physics 1 and Physics 2 for engineering and science faculties: mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism and optics. Often the problem is not the formula but how the problem is set up.
See the physics syllabus → - Computer science
MATLAB and Simulink for the engineering exam, advanced level too, Python, C: from first programming exams to Automatic Control projects.
See the computer science syllabus → - Economics, law and languages
For other degree courses, the team of affiliate tutors also covers economics, law and languages: from introductory exams to the most technical texts, with the same practical method.

-
Free introductory call
Half an hour on the phone, no commitment: tell us where you are and what you need to prepare for.
-
A tutor and a plan that fit
We suggest the tutor and the plan that best suit your subject, level and deadlines.
-
Online lessons, one to one
On a video call with a shared digital whiteboard, at least 60 minutes long, at times that suit the tutor.
-
Notes after every lesson
You receive personalised notes and summaries, and you can message your tutor on WhatsApp when you are stuck.
University tutoring: frequently asked questions.
Do you offer tutoring for university as well as high school?
Yes. The first two years of engineering (Politecnico di Milano, Statale, Bicocca) in maths, physics and computer science are covered by Gaetano; for other degree courses the team also covers economics, law and languages. Lessons are online, so they work wherever you study.
Can I book ahead of the September sitting?
It is the time when we receive the most requests of this kind. If you have a sitting in September, we use the first lesson to work out what you really lack compared with the time you have, then we build a plan that covers that, not the whole syllabus from scratch.
What does "help with an OFA" mean?
If your TOLC score did not reach the required threshold, the university assigns you an Additional Learning Requirement (OFA) to close, usually within the first year, often with an internal maths or physics test. We work in a targeted way on that, so that no open debt remains on your transcript.
Which engineering and computer science exams do you cover?
Besides Calculus and Physics, I cover MATLAB and Simulink, advanced level too (useful for exams such as Automatic Control or Linear Systems), Python, C and first programming exams. If your course is not on this list, write to me anyway: I can often help all the same.
I am already ahead with the syllabus but stuck on a single topic: does a lesson make sense?
Yes, in fact it is the most common case. There is no need to restart from the whole syllabus: you send the exercise or the specific topic and we build the lesson around that block, with exam-style examples.
How much does university tutoring cost?
As for high school, rates and packages are the same for all subjects: you will find the up-to-date detail on the Pricing page. Payment is always offline. The easiest way to start is to book a lesson or a free 30-minute introductory call.
Are lessons online or in person?
Yes, every lesson takes place online, one to one, on a Google Meet video call with a shared digital whiteboard. All you need is a computer with a webcam and microphone and a decent connection: no travelling, wherever you are.
How long is a lesson?
A lesson lasts at least 60 minutes. On request we can also do 90-minute or 2-hour sessions, useful at university or when you need a long block before a test.
How do I book the first lesson?
The easiest way is to book the free introductory call from the booking page, or to send a WhatsApp message. After the call we agree on a tutor and a plan; lessons are then booked from your personal area or on WhatsApp, in the tutor’s free slots.
How does the free introductory call work?
It is a free 30-minute phone call with no commitment: together we work out where you are, what you need to prepare for and how much time you have, and we suggest the tutor and the plan that suit you best.
Ready to pass your exam?
Message me on WhatsApp and tell me where you are: together we work out how much time you have and what you really need before your sitting.
