Let's talk.

The fastest way to arrange a free introductory call is to message me on WhatsApp. For general questions you can also use email or phone.

The call

What happens on the introductory call

It is thirty minutes by phone or video call, free and with no obligation: it is not a trial lesson in disguise and there is nothing to sign at the end. Its purpose is to understand two things: where something went wrong, and how much time you really have before the next test, catch-up exam or university exam.

Free · 30 minutes

  1. 1

Where you are starting from. Your year, type of school, subject and how it has gone so far: grades, topics where you got lost, what your teacher says. If you have a failed subject to make up or a failing grade, when the exam or retest is.

  2. 2

Where it really went wrong. It is almost never today's topic: it is a gap from two years ago coming back. We look together at a test or an exercise that did not work out for you, and the gap usually shows up within ten minutes.

  3. 3

How many hours you need, and with whom. I give you an honest number of hours and how often, and who would work with you, me or one of our tutors. If I think you do not need a tutor, I will tell you: it happens.

What to have at hand. The last test that went badly (even just a photo on your phone) and the syllabus covered so far, if you have it. That is enough. If you want to arrive at the call with something concrete, first take one of the free practice tests: the result by topic is exactly the starting point for the diagnosis.

Who is writing. I answer WhatsApp messages and emails myself, usually within a few hours and often in the evening. Parents write as often as students, and both are fine. If the student is a minor, though, I want to speak to them on the call too, not only to whoever is paying.
