Terms and conditions

1. Subject matter

These conditions govern the provision of the one-to-one private lesson service in all secondary-school and university subjects (maths, physics, science, computer science, languages, humanities, economics), delivered by Gaetano Livornese (hereinafter the "Tutor") and by affiliate tutors selected by GL Ripetizioni, through the website gl-ripetizioni.com. The Tutor also offers preparation for university admission tests (TOLC, Bocconi, Cattolica, medicine and related fields).

2. How lessons are delivered

Lessons take place mainly online via Google Meet, with a shared digital whiteboard. The standard length is 60 minutes per lesson; for university students, 90-minute sessions are possible by agreement.

3. Prices

Current prices are published on the /en/pricing page. They are expressed in euros, VAT included where applicable. The Tutor reserves the right to update the price list: packages already purchased remain at their original price.

4. Payment methods

Payment is made offline, by bank transfer, Satispay, PayPal or Revolut (with Revolut, payment can also be made by card or Apple Pay, through the link sent by the Tutor). The website does not handle credit cards or payment data. Instructions are sent by email after the booking is confirmed.

• Single lesson: payment within 48 hours of the lesson taking place.
• Packages: payment when the package is activated, before the first lesson.

5. Cancellations and rescheduling

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the scheduled time: the lesson is not charged and can be rescheduled as you wish. Less than 24 hours before, the lesson is deducted from the package anyway, except in cases of force majeure agreed directly with the Tutor.

6. Packages — use and expiry

Credits are valid for 5 months from the date they are credited, and the expiry date is shown in your personal area. Hours not used by the expiry date lapse and are not refundable.

7. Liability of the Tutor

The Tutor undertakes to provide the service with professional diligence, sharing materials, exercises and corrections. The Tutor does not guarantee specific results (e.g. school grades), as these also depend on the student's commitment and circumstances.

8. Materials

The PDFs, formula sheets and diagrams provided during the lessons are licensed to the student for personal use. They may not be redistributed, published or resold without written consent.

9. Account and personal area

The student is responsible for keeping their credentials safe. Any unauthorised access must be reported to the Tutor immediately. For minors, the account must be registered in the name of a parent.

10. Processing of personal data

For the processing of personal data, please refer to the privacy policy and the cookie policy.

11. Competent court and governing law

These terms are governed by Italian law. For any dispute, the consumer's court (foro del consumatore) has exclusive jurisdiction — that is, the court of the place where the customer resides or is domiciled, if the customer is a consumer.
