Passo 2 — Il caso particolare. Marco è un dipendente del reparto Marketing. Non c'è alcuna informazione che lo escluda dalla regola.
Risposta: Vero. Se una regola vale per tutti i membri di un gruppo e Marco è membro di quel gruppo, la regola vale anche per lui: non serve nessuna informazione aggiuntiva. Chi risponde "Non si può determinare" pensa erroneamente che manchino dati su Marco, ma qui il sillogismo è diretto e completo.

There is no published cut-off: the technical threshold to enter the ranking is 17/50, but admission depends on the ranking of the sitting, where the test counts for 55% and the school record (Year 3 and Year 4 marks) for 45%. How does Critical thinking work?
It is the trickiest section: a short scenario and a statement to judge True, False or Cannot be determined. The trap is the third option — many statements seem true by common sense but the text does not support them. A wrong answer costs −0.33, more than in the other sections: here a strategic blank is worth double.
