Healthcare degrees test practice with the real structure of the national test.
Same number of questions, same total time, same scoring as the national test for nursing, physiotherapy, midwifery, radiography and the other healthcare degrees. At the end you get by email your score, the breakdown by area and topic, and the correct answer to every question — even the ones you skipped; with an account you see them straight away on this page. The step-by-step solution unlocks with your first lesson.
The healthcare degrees test is the national admission test for nursing, physiotherapy, midwifery, radiography and the other healthcare degrees.

Two worked examples from the test
Solution
Solution

Frequently asked questions.
Is the practice test identical to the real test?
It follows the official structure of the 2026 national test: 60 questions in 100 minutes on a single clock (you can move freely between areas, as in the TOLC-MED) — 4 questions of reading skills, 5 of logical reasoning, 23 of biology, 15 of chemistry, 13 of physics and maths. Scoring is +1.5 for a correct answer, −0.4 for a wrong one and 0 for a blank: a harsher penalty than the CISIA one (+1/−0.25) used by other tests, so it is worth answering only when you are reasonably sure. The questions are original, written in the style and to the official syllabus — they are not copied from the real test.
What score do I need to get in?
There is no fixed threshold: the ranking depends on the places available at each university and degree course and on the scores of the other candidates in that sitting, and it changes every year and at every university. As a purely indicative reference, a score of 45+ out of a maximum of 90 (all 60 questions correct) has historically been a competitive position; this is not, however, a promise of admission.
Where can I take a free healthcare degrees practice test online?
Right here on this page: the healthcare degrees practice test is free, starts immediately, has 60 questions in 100 minutes like the national test and can be retaken as many times as you like. At the end you receive by email your score, the breakdown by area and the correct answer to every question.
Can I retake the practice test more than once?
Yes, as often as you like. The questions are drawn at random from a bank of verified questions for each area, so every attempt is a different test. If you close the page halfway through, the test resumes where you left off.
Why is the penalty for wrong answers higher than in the TOLC?
It is the same in the real test, it is not a choice of the practice test: −0.4 against the −0.25 of the CISIA tests (TOLC-I, TOLC-MED). With 5 options per question, answering at random has an even more clearly negative expected value: even before you prepare the subjects, it helps to train yourself to recognise when it pays to leave a blank.
What if my score is low?
That is exactly why the practice test exists: at the end you see the breakdown by area and by topic, so you know where to focus your revision — with 23 questions out of 60, biology alone is worth almost a quarter of the total score. If you would like a hand, the first call with me is a free diagnostic: we look at the results together and build a plan around your real gaps.
Want to raise your score for real?
The practice test shows you where you lose points; in lessons we work exactly there, on the official questions, with a timed practice test every 3–4 lessons. Read how the test preparation works or the complete guide, or start with the free diagnostic call.
