Healthcare degrees admission test preparation, online and tailored to you.
This is the Italian admission test for healthcare degrees (Professioni Sanitarie): sixty questions in 100 minutes, +1.5 for every correct answer and −0.4 for every wrong one. The penalty is higher than in the TOLC tests and biology weighs 23 questions out of 60. I work with you on the official syllabus of the decree, giving more time to the areas that are worth more points, and on the rule for leaving questions blank. Want to see where you stand? Take the free practice test for this admission test now.
Watch the blanks: the penalty is high.
The students I work with
- Final-year high school students aiming for nursing, physiotherapy, midwifery or another healthcare degree, starting from a school syllabus that needs reviewing in an orderly way.
- Students coming from the TOLC tests who have to adjust to a higher penalty, a single clock and a paper with 23 biology questions out of 60.
- Students retaking the test who want to understand, mistake by mistake, where they lost points last time instead of repeating the same revision.
How it works
- We start with a diagnostic practice test to see where you lose points, area by area.
- We plan the lessons on the real weights of the test: biology and chemistry first, physics and maths by question type.
- We review the syllabus of Annex A of the decree, without going beyond high school level.
- We train the rule for leaving questions blank, because with −0.4 per mistake, guessing costs points.
- In the last weeks, full 100-minute practice tests, reviewed question by question.

Healthcare degrees test: frequently asked questions.
How does the scoring of the healthcare degrees test work?
For 2026/27 the MUR decree sets a maximum of 90 points: +1.5 for every correct answer, −0.4 for every wrong one, 0 for every blank. Candidates with a score above zero are eligible. With five options, answering completely at random has a slightly negative expected value, so the rule I use in lessons is simple: you answer when you can rule out at least one option with certainty, otherwise you leave it blank.
What score do I need to get in?
The decree sets no threshold beyond a score above zero for eligibility: universities draw up the rankings on the score, and the places depend on the degree and the location. What you need to get in therefore depends on who else sits the test for the same degree. I do not give "historical" numbers because they could not be verified: what counts is maximising your score, starting from the areas that weigh the most.
Is the test the same all over Italy?
The format is national (60 questions, 100 minutes, five areas), but the paper is prepared by each university and is identical for all the degrees of that university. There is therefore no single paper with the same questions everywhere. Each university also has you state your order of preference among the degrees for which you sat the test.
When is the next test?
The 2026/27 test took place on 16 September 2026 in Italian and on 17 September in English, under Ministerial Decree no. 1003 of 6 August 2026. The dates of the next edition have not been published yet, and I do not anticipate them: you will find them on the MUR website, on Universitaly and in your university's call for applications, which must come out at least 30 days before the test.
What do students coming from the TOLC tests need to change?
Three things: the penalty is higher (−0.4 against the −0.25 of the TOLC tests), the test has a single 100-minute time limit for all questions instead of separately timed sections, and biology weighs 23 questions out of 60. In case of a tie the decree looks in order at biology, chemistry, physics and maths, logical reasoning, and reading: biology counts twice.
Do you also prepare students for Medicine and the other healthcare degrees?
Yes: I prepare students for the filter semester for Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Medicine, which draws on chemistry, physics and biology, and for many other admission tests. If you are weighing both routes, we talk about it in the introductory call and build a plan that does not duplicate the revision.
