Architecture test practice, with the real national structure.
The Architecture test is the single national test (MUR decree 706/2026) used by every Italian public university for admission to Architecture: 50 questions in a single 100-minute session, with no separately timed sections. This practice test replicates the real structure and scoring, and emails you the breakdown by topic and the correct answer to every question — with an account you see them straight away on this page. The step-by-step solution unlocks with your first lesson.
It is the national admission test for Architecture degrees at Italian public universities.

Solution
Solution

Frequently asked questions.
Is the Architecture test the same for all Italian universities?
Yes. Unlike the TOLC-I (used by many universities but not all, with slight variants) or the tests chosen independently by a single university, the Architecture test is a single NATIONAL test, defined by the ministerial decree MUR no. 706 of 4 June 2026: every public university organises its own sitting (even on different dates) of the exact same test, by 30 September 2026.
How long is the test and how many questions are there?
The test has 50 multiple-choice questions (5 options each) in a single 100-minute session — there are no separately timed sections, unlike the TOLC-I or the TIL-I: you have 100 minutes for the whole test and can manage your time between the 5 areas as you prefer. The practice test replicates exactly this mode: a single clock for the whole test.
How does the scoring work?
Every correct answer is worth +1 point, every wrong answer −0.25, every blank 0 points — the same scheme as the TOLC-I. The maximum score is 50. Anyone who scores 0 points or less is excluded from the ranking; there is no positive minimum threshold set nationally, though, and your position depends on the places available at the university you choose.
Do I need to be able to draw for the “Drawing and representation” section?
No: it is a section of theoretical knowledge about graphic representation (orthogonal projections, axonometric views, drawing scales, sections, dimensions), not a practical freehand drawing test. The questions in the practice test are all multiple-choice, as in the real test.
Can I retake the practice test more than once?
Yes, as often as you like. Reading comprehension, logic and the maths part of the “Physics and maths” section partly come from the same bank used for the TOLC-I (filtered to fit the level of this test), while art history and drawing and representation have dedicated banks: every attempt draws different questions.
Is this practice test an official product of the Ministry or a university?
No. It is an independent practice test, not affiliated with or sponsored by the Ministry of Universities and Research or by any university: it reproduces the structure and scoring system published in the ministerial decree for training purposes, with original questions written in the style and to the syllabus of the real test — they are not copied official questions.
